Dr. Ian Britton

M.D.

Dr. Britton grew up in the Pacific Northwest around Seattle. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas where he majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology. He then went on to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine.


After this, he went on to Case Western Reserve University where he completed residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and an additional year as Chief Resident. From there he went to UC San Diego where he completed fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He then did an additional fellowship in Advanced Lung Disease at Stanford University.

After finishing training, Dr. Britton worked in the Advanced Lung Disease team at UCLA for two years before coming to the central coast.


Dr. Britton enjoys cooking, cycling, and hiking.
